These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bayside Tree and Landscape website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

Bayside Tree and Landscape provides tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency storm response, lot clearing, and landscape services including design, installation, lawn maintenance, mulch, fertilization, and irrigation throughout Talbot, Queen Anne's, and surrounding counties on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Estimates & Quotes

Estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the conditions observed at the time of assessment. An estimate is not a binding contract. Final pricing may change if site conditions, scope, access, or hidden hazards differ from what was visible during the estimate. Work begins only after the scope and price are agreed upon.

Scheduling & Weather

Tree and landscape work is weather-dependent. We may reschedule jobs for rain, high winds, storms, or unsafe ground conditions. We make every effort to give advance notice and to reschedule promptly. For emergency storm work, we prioritize active hazards and mobilize as quickly as conditions allow.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Deposits may be required for larger projects or for materials ordered on your behalf. Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable late fees as permitted by Maryland law.

Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, to identify the property lines and any known underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic components, or private cabling, and to inform us of any relevant permits, HOA rules, or easements. We take significant care to protect your lawn and landscaping, but we are not responsible for damage to unmarked private utilities or underground features we were not made aware of.

Licensing & Insurance

Bayside Tree and Landscape is a Maryland-licensed contractor and carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance for tree and landscape work. Proof of insurance is available upon request before work begins.

Warranties & Disclaimers

We stand behind our workmanship. However, living trees, plants, and lawns are subject to natural factors — weather, disease, pests, and soil conditions — that are outside our control, and we cannot guarantee the survival of any plant material. Except as expressly stated, services are provided “as is,” and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
